Windows 10 Pro & LCDhost alpha 37 x64 error: 0xc000007b

Hey,

I updated my win7 to win 10 (clean install) and I get this horrible error: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Clock OK to close the application."

I can see others using it on Windows 10. Does any one know what is happening to me?

I have Logitech software x64 installed and I'm trying lcdhost x64. x86 doesn't show up in logitech software...

Please help as I won't be able to live without it!

Have you found a solution? I've just performed the Win7 to 10 upgrade and am in the exact same situation.

I presumed that the previous poster had made his homework but I was wrong. Barely one screen below there is a solution here (the msvcrt thingy).

I ended up running LCDHost in 32 bits and somehow Logitech software recognized it... I did fiddle with those msvrct dlls and it wouldn't make any difference. But kept trying different versions and the latest works, but in 32-bit.

FIXED: I had this same problem too. It would not load with the error 0xC000007B. I fixed it by making sure I had all the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages installed. I had done a format and reinstall of windows and as soon as I had the Visual C++ Packages installed, it worked. I am not sure which one though as I did a bulk install, but I think it was the 2013 packages.
