Strange network behaivour spawned by LCDHost
« on: 2015-08-17 14:53:14 »
Hello, first i want to say thanks for this awesome software. I have an odd question. While LCDHost is running it is spawning a process that is trying to connect to activate.adobe.com that iterates through all the ports then starts again, constantly looking for a connection. I have activate.adobe.com blocked in my HOSTS file, so it never actually connects. What I would like to know, if possible, is why would LCDHost be trying to connect to adobe ? Attached is a small snip showing this activity.
Thanks in advance

LCDHost doesn't try to connect to activate.adobe.com, it just monitors connections attemps by any adobe software installed on your PC. It's the same with internet security suites. If you check their network activity, you may find the same behavior as their firewall also monitors every connection.
