LCDHost and Windows 10

I've got numerous issues with LCDhost after i upgraded to Windows 10.

1) LCDHost wouldn't start when i started windows. Placing it in autostart folder didn't work any more so i had to create a task.

2) Plugins randomly unload and everything (time/data) freezes until i load plugins or restart LCDhost.

3) LCDHost task uses 5-15% of CPU power whereas before an upgrade it used about 1-2%. I have no idea why this is happening and unloading/loading different plugins didn't help.

I think we might need an update.

I upgraded to Windows 10 x64 and although does it randomly sometimes LCDHost just freezes up, I think it may be when running something 3D intensive. I use AIDA64 for my readings. I also had to make a task in the Task Scheduler to get it to run at start other than that seems ok.

Freezes happen because plugins keep randomly unloading. Text plugin, monitoring and weather are the usual culprits.

Still constantly unloads plugins :/

Especially the text one. So annoying.

The unloaded plugins was also a problem for me. I diden't know whitch plugins must be loaded, but after some thinkering i found witch one i had to load.
Now i can use my lcdhost back like i used to on win8.1

Well. I've upgraded my pc and did a clean install of windows 10 and now im getting error : 0xc000007b. Compatibility mode doesn't help and im running as administrator.

Same for me. I'm running Windows 10 Enterprise.

I found out that lcdhost doesn't work and shows error 0xc000007b only on a clean install of windows 10. Using it on a system with upgraded windows 10 works fine. This makes me think that lcdhost misses some drivers or prerequisites on a clean system. I wish i knew which though.

Well now im completely puzzled. I've tried installing lcdhost while unchecking every single option during installation. This resulted in lcdhost asking for qt plugins. Then i've clicked the installer again, it removed the previous installation, installed it again and everything is now working fine.

This is very weird.

The msvcp110.dll and msvcr110.dll from the LCDHOST folder are not compatible with Windows 2010.

You may install the latest msvcp110.dll and msvcr110.dll librairies from Microsoft (they will be installed in C:\windows\system32):

1) 2) I had the same problems until I reinstalled Windows. After that I let LCDHost install into D:\Documents, instead of picking my own install directory, and suddenly everything works as intended.

3) Can't say anything to this, just that my installation is using around 1% (max 1.70%) CPU.
